Dr. Georg Kolb studied Technological Physics at the Technical University Munich and graduated in 1990.
He attained a Ph.D. in the fields of Near-Field Scanning Optical Microscopy and Semiconductor Electronics (TU Munich and Siemens AG). He has had several years experience in industry in senior management positions (1995 to 1999 Siemens AG, 1999 to 2002 Infineon Technologies AG). Dr. Georg Kolb joined Schwan Schwan Schorer in 2003 and became a partner in 2009.
