Studies & professional experience
Ivo Schwan studied Applied Physics and specialized in Technical Physics at The Munich University of Applied Science (FH Munich), where he graduated in 1992. While studying at university he worked part-time as a patent researcher and patent translator. Ivo Schwan attained practical experience while working at Siemens AG in Munich and Medtronic Inc. in Minneapolis, USA. In 1992 he joined Schwan Schwan Schorer and after becoming registered as a European Patent Attorney he became a partner in 1998. In 2002 he was admitted as a German Patent and Trademark Attorney.
